Güven Bana

Written and directed by Selçuk Aydemir, who has put his signatures under the works such as “Çalgi Çengi”, “Dügün Dernek”, “Isler Güçler”, and “Kardes Payi”, the movie "Güven Bana", where the leading roles are shared by Cihangir Ceyhan, Okan Çabalar, Ufuk Bayraktar, Erdal Özyagcilar, Pelin Karahan, Onur Gökçek, Kivanç Baran Arslan, Özgür Emre Yildirim, Köksal Engür, Serap Önder, Zihni Göktay, Tuncay Beyazit, and Korhan Herduran, tells the story of deception in a world where people don't trust even their closest ones.In “Güven Bana”, Özcan and Sercan go to collect the 150 thousand Turkish Liras owed by their uncle Müslüm, to pay off their debt to the usurer. The moment the uncle puts his hand in his pocket to give the money, he has a heart attack and dies. The uncle has money belonging to them in his pocket, but he has not taken it out and given it to them yet. The brothers, who went to pay off their debt to the usurer once they took the money from their uncle's pocket, are taken by a big surprise because the money is counterfeit. Considering that the way to get rid of counterfeit money is to leave it where they took it, the brothers come to the funeral home to put the money in their dead uncle's jacket pocket and embark on an adventure that is impossible to restore.
